Hi, I'm Matthew — engineer by trade, maker by passion.
Welcome to my creative space at MattMadeMe.com! I'm a product engineer specializing in electrical and software design. My career in additive manufacturing began long before 3D printing became consumer-friendly, and my background in both precise engineering and mass manufacturing uniquely shapes my approach to design.
When I'm not immersed in the technical details of my day job, you'll often find me unwinding on a cruise ship. Cruising isn't just a way to relax—it's where I let my creative side shine. It's on these voyages that I escape the meticulous world of engineering and embrace the joy of designing quirky, lighthearted pieces.
The spark for my creative journey came unexpectedly. I started printing ducks as a test print with a new printer, and my wife fell in love with them. What began as a fun experiment quickly evolved into our "Love Language", inspiring me to craft more custom designs just for her.
